This automatic control unit allows production of coated wires with a constant range of wire outside diameters, which are measured by a laser measuring instrument of enameled wire outside diameters. An alarm is provided for the following items in the form of buzzer, rotating light and IT indicator: |

| Control method | Coated wires are measured by laser measuring unit for outside diameters. If found defect, then coater rolls are automatically controlled to adjust to an appropriate speed for adjustment of varnish amount to be applied to wires. (When a wire in a line under measurement is broken, the automatic control unit operates to maintain the roller speed that had been obtained at the time of wire disconnection. |
